Kate Williams
Kate Williams is a researcher and non profit professional with experience in microfinance, HIV, rural agriculture, and child/youth development both internationally and domestically. She holds a Bachelors degree in Non Profit Management from the University of Pittsburgh and a Masters degree in International and Development Economics from the University of San Francisco. Her work experience includes projects with Kiva.org, TechSoup, USAID, The Pittsburgh Presbytery, the Bloomfield-Garfield Corporation, and most recently, Compassion International where she is the quantitative program effectiveness research manager. Kate is passionate about helping organizations optimize their impact with quality research to improve programming, as well as educating those internal and external on what quality international development program can do in the lives of God's children. She recently moved to Charlotte from Colorado Springs with her husband, young son, and dog and enjoys reading, traveling, pottery, yoga, and cooking.
